EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organization

For the maintenance of aerospace components, a company must demonstrate its competence in accordance with the regulations of EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) Part 145. Only components that have been maintained and inspected in accordance with these requirements can be issued a "Form 1" and thus certified as airworthy, so that these components can later be installed and used in aircraft.

The operating license as a maintenance organization according to EASA Part 145 is issued by the respective National Aviation Authority (NAA), in Germany the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA).
