X-ray inspection (RT) Non Film

Even though the technical procedure for X-ray remains the same, digital storage media such as imaging plates have become increasingly popular in recent years. In addition to the recyclability of the films, the rapid availability of the images is a plus.

Whereas in traditional X-raying the X-ray result is still output via a film, in digital X-raying reproduction via screen is standard.

Anyone who thinks that digital X-raying will completely replace traditional X-raying will have to be patient for a while yet. At least in the coming years, the two processes will coexist.

The advantages of digital images are obvious: they are less sensitive to overexposure and underexposure and can be easily sharpened and reworked. But therein lies the danger at the same time. Therefore, let our experts assist you in the validation process from film to digital.

Furthermore, many digital storage media are sensitive to dust and dirt, so that the use of digital X-ray on many large construction sites is not yet economically viable.
