EN 16910-1 / DIN 27201-7 Railway approval NDT

DIN EN 16910-1 describes the requirements for non-destructive material testing of rail vehicle running gears within the scope of maintenance.
DIN 27201-7 presents the additional sector-specific requirements for testing personnel for bogies, vehicle frames, traction and shock elements for tests according to UT, MT, ET and VT.

Only in combination of the two standards the selection of the appropriate test methods is neatly presented and enable the certificate holder to select the appropriate test method according to component, location and accessibility.
